Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION :  The   Baker   I   is   responsible for   assisting   in the presentation, display ,   and production of baked goods and pastries   with an   emphasis on quality,   appearance   and service.   RESPONSIBILITIES:   Assist   in preparing baked goods and other items as needed, following the prep list and designated recipes and procedures   Display baked goods creatively and keep displays well-stocked, clean, and organized   Present a courteous attitude to guests, going out of the way to   offer assistance , on the phone or in person   Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment   Other duties as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS:    Minimum of 3 months of experience in baking or culinary school   Must be able to work a variety of shifts including early morning and evening shifts, at all four lodges   Must provide work shoes, French knife and other knives, spatulas ,   and pastry tools    Able to stand   for   long periods   of time   Able to lift and carry full sheet pans   PAY RATE:   Pay: $20.00 - 22.5 per hour  DOE Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer .
