Behavior Technician (RBT) – Carol Stream, Illinois

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM; Friday, 9:00/10:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM (Weekends Off)
Location: In-person – Carol Stream, Illinois
Pay: $24.00-28.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! This position involves working one-on-one with a client to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
About the Role
As a BT/RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record accurate session data
- Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals
- Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education
Qualifications
- Current RBT Certification (preferred)
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)
- Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)
- Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)
- A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)
