RTX’s Legal, Contracts & Compliance organization is seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented professional to support Board Operations as well as broader corporate governance activities and special projects. This role provides essential coordination, project management, process improvement, and documentation support to ensure high‑quality execution of Board‑related work and to advance enterprise governance priorities. This position is hybrid at RTX’s Farmington, Connecticut location. What You Will Do: Board Operations Support: Support planning and logistics for Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda alignment, material preparation, and stakeholder coordination. Assist with compiling, formatting, proofreading, and distributing Board materials, ensuring accuracy, quality, and confidentiality. Provide support for Board meetings, including coordination with various support functions and real‑time issue resolution. Corporate Governance Support: Assist with governance documentation, recordkeeping, version control, and audit‑ready files. Support recurring and ad hoc governance initiatives, including policy reviews, governance benchmarking, audits, and enterprise reporting. Prepare summaries, checklists, and project documentation to support governance readiness and compliance. Project Management: Maintain project plans, timelines, trackers, and status updates across Legal, Finance, HR, and business units. Track deliverables and follow‑up items, ensuring key milestones are met with accuracy and consistency. Coordinate cross‑functional contributions for Board and governance‑related projects. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, standardization, and quality in Board and governance processes. Support implementation of new tools, templates, workflows, and digital solutions. Apply CORE or other continuous‑improvement principles to streamline operations and reduce process risk. Confidentiality & Professionalism: Handle sensitive information with discretion and support executive‑level communication and decision‑making. Interface professionally with senior leaders and directors. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience Proven organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail. Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly learn governance and board-management systems (e.g., BoardVantage). Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively across functions. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience supporting corporate governance, legal operations, or highly regulated environments. Familiarity with CORE, Lean, or other continuous‑improvement methodologies.
