Job Description
Dewberry is seeking a Bridge Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to work in our Mechanicsburg, PA office. The candidate will assist with bridge design (steel and concrete) and a variety of transportation structures (retaining walls, sign structures, box culverts and other miscellaneous structures). The individual will help perform structural modeling and analysis, structural calculations, condition inspections, load ratings, cost estimating, and plan production.

Responsibilities
Perform Structural Analysis and design
Prepare calculations , drawings, and specifications using relevant codes and standards
Prepare quantities and cost estimates
Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments as required
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Required Skills & Required Experience
BS in Civil Engineering (MS in Structural Engineering preferred).
3+ years experience required
EIT is required.
Prior experience with PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike Commission is preferred
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
Strong skills in technical communication and plan preparation.
Proficiency using CADD (Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, and OpenBridge Modeler
Proficiency using Microsoft Office required.
Desire to work in a team enviornment.
A clean driving record is required.
