Project Role : Business Capability Architect Project Role Description : Define and build a capability that does not currently exist. Develop industry position papers on the capability and help define a practice from incubation to growth stages. Participate in business development activities and act as a subject matter expert for the technical and functional design of the capability, which can be leveraged or implemented at multiple clients. Must have skills : SAP for Retail Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: In the role of Business Capability Architect, a typical day involves defining and establishing new business capabilities that are not yet present within the organization. This includes developing comprehensive industry position papers to articulate the value and strategic importance of these capabilities. The role requires guiding the evolution of these capabilities from initial incubation through to growth phases, ensuring they are robust and scalable. Additionally, the position involves active participation in business development efforts and serving as a subject matter expert to support both technical and functional design aspects. Collaboration across various teams and stakeholders is a key part of daily activities to ensure successful implementation and adoption across multiple clients. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the development and refinement of new business capabilities to align with organizational goals. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the team and across departments to enhance capability maturity. - Support junior team members by providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail. - Strong understanding of retail business processes and how they integrate with SAP solutions. - Experience in designing and implementing scalable business capabilities within SAP environments. - Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs. - Excellent communication skills to articulate capability concepts and collaborate with diverse teams. - Proven problem-solving skills to address challenges during capability development and deployment.
