Territory: Manchester–Londonderry, NH Area
Reports To: Vice President of Business Development

Position Overview The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and expanding deposit and lending relationships throughout the assigned territory. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who enjoys prospecting, attending networking events, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.
Key Responsibilities Business Development
Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and community outreach
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and referral partners
Identify opportunities to expand both business banking and lending relationships
Represent the organization at networking events, business associations, and community functions
Relationship Management
Develop lasting relationships with local business owners, community leaders, and organizations
Meet with prospective clients to understand their financial goals and banking needs
Deliver a consultative, relationship-focused sales experience
Maintain ongoing communication with clients and referral sources
Client Support
Assist new clients throughout the onboarding process
Partner with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
Educate clients on available banking products and financial solutions
Build long-term client loyalty through responsive follow-up and exceptional service
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, referrals, and client interactions
Track pipeline activity and business development performance
Support market growth initiatives and territory expansion strategies
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable banking regulations
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, account management, or a customer-facing sales role required
Banking, commercial lending, or financial services experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge of deposit products, commercial lending, or financial services is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
