About the Department: The environment on our unit is fast-paced, multidisciplinary, educational, high-acuity, supportive, team-oriented, and compassionate! We care for Adult patients aged 18 to 118 who are being treated for post-op recovery and intensive care for coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic surgeries, valve surgeries, pulmonary endarterectomies, heart/lung/dual organ transplant, and care of temporary mechanical circulator support, including the majority of our center's ECMO population.   Your Schedule: Full-Time Night Shift - 6:45 pm - 7:15 am (three 12-hour shifts/week) Shifts rotate throughout the week Note: Set schedules are not available.  Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs. All Employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment. What You Need to Qualify: Required : High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) AND one of the following: Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester ( including nursing fundamentals clinical ), or Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required ), or Minimum of one year of recent experience ( within the past two years ) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.
