In this role you will get to develop the Signaling System for the Future S-network upgrading from GoA2 to GoA4. What You'll Be Doing: As a CBTC system engineer, you will be working on one, several or all sub-systems of the Signaling System such as Traffic Management System, Communication Based Train Control, Data Communication Systems, and interlocking. Analyzing technical specifications and requirements Participating in project meetings with expert colleagues Participate in testing and implementing system Develop test case Documenting progress and results Reviewing technical system documentation from the supplier Strategic advisory for DSB in the signaling area What Required Skills You'll Bring: Minimum of 10 years of experience in advanced systems in mass transit environment Bachelors Degree in Engineering Railway signaling systems, including design review, requirements management and technical documentation (design, V&V, RAMS) Automated systems including data communications System integration and testing, including troubleshooting Interface management (rolling stock and supporting systems Strong English language skills What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience working on large and complex multi-supplier project/programs Drive to work in complex systems with high quality in technical solutions Thrive on learning new things and building specialist knowledge in CBC signaling system Value structured work processes and focus on documentation and collaboration across professional groups Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
