Cell-Based Assay GMP Team Leader

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying close to the bench while also helping support and guide a small team. You’ll play a key role in assay execution, method support, and day-to-day lab operations in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Hands-On Assay Work Execute cell-based assays, ligand-binding ELISAs, and related workflows Perform routine tasks such as cell plating, dilutions, and 96-well plate work Apply strong aseptic technique and pipetting skills in a GMP setting Method & Lab Support Assist with method qualification, transfer, and troubleshooting Help ensure consistency and quality of assay execution Documentation & Compliance Accurately record work in lab notebooks/e-systems Follow GMP documentation practices and data integrity standards Team Support  Help coordinate daily lab activities and support team workflow Provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed Act as a go-to resource for technical questions on the team Collaboration Work closely with clients, peers and supervisors to meet timelines and deliverables Contribute to a positive, team-oriented lab environment Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree with >6 years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience, or; Master's degree with >5 years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience, or; PhD  with 4+ years of relevant industry experience & supervisory experience  Minimum 4 years of hands‑on industry lab experience  ( GMP  required; academic‑only backgrounds are not a fit) Strong technical background in  cell‑based assays,  reporter‑gene assays, ELISAs, 96‑well plate workflows, multi‑channel pipetting, cell culture, cell counting, and cell banking Leadership & Collaboration Demonstrated leadership experience  Technical depth may offset the need for formal leadership experience .
