City/State Edenton, NC Work Shift First (Days) Overview: SMG Family Internal Medicine Edenton is   seeking   a   Certified Medical Assistant   in   Edenton, NC .   💰   Up to a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Qualified Candidates   ✨   New Grads Welcome to Apply     Job Summary   Monday through Friday,   40 hours   per week   8-5   Floating when needed, mileage reimbursement offered   Certification required at hire   Overview   The   CERTIFIED   Medical Assistant   performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).   The   CERTIFIED   Medical Assistant   provides an environment for safety;   identifies ,   addresses , and incorporates principles of safety for the patient, visitors, and employees. Provides patient care tasks and procedures and administrative duties (as   appropriate) .  Demonstrates the ability to objectively assess a specific situation from a few   viewpoints   considers an array of alternatives,   assists   with the development of realistic action   plans   and evaluates outcomes. Demonstrates the development of the specific skills and knowledge   required of   medical assistants, effective inter-departmental interactions, and ability to follow department and system policies, procedures, and practices.
