Certified Pharmacy Technician

Pharmaceuticals Position: Certified Pharmacy Technician Location: Overland Park, Kansas Duration: 4 Months Hours: 8a-4:30p Job description   : • We are looking for technicians who have retail (preferred) or specialty pharmacy experience. • If they only have PA experience, they do not meet our requirements. • Specifically looking for techs who have prescription processing experience. Descriptions may include: data entry of prescriptions, prescription entry, prescription intake, dispensing prescriptions, filling prescriptions, etc. They need experience in handling customer phone calls both inbound and outbound. They need experience speaking with physician offices. They need experience with processing claims to insurance/third party. Descriptions may include: adjudication of claims, claims resolution, processing insurance Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Pharm Tech. Prior Authorization experience highly preferred Pharmacy Technician License along with 2 years experience in Retail or Pharmacy. ***Contract length may be extended depending upon the business needs.
