In this role, you will provide direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management, while also engaging in public behavioral health education initiatives. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about helping others,   possesses   strong communication   skills, and is committed to ongoing learning and development.   As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will examine, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients,   participate   in emergency services, and contribute to program evaluation and grant applications. Your   expertise   will be vital in ensuring comprehensive follow-up care and supporting the development of our staff.   Essential Job Functions   Examine, diagnose, and create treatment plans for patients with mental health and/or   addiction   medicine concerns.   Provide direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management services.   Participate in emergency services to offer rapid aid during emotional crises.   Ensure comprehensive follow-up care for all clients.   Join client staffing meetings to   identify   problems and   establish   treatment goals.   Attend required meetings,   trainings , and staff development activities.   Support management needs, such as data collection and program evaluation.   Engage in public and community behavioral health education initiatives.   Complete psychiatric evaluations and medication follow-up appointments   in a timely manner .   Offer medical/psychiatric consultation to internal staff and external entities as requested.   Collaborate and provide support to assigned Nurse Practitioners, fellows, residents, and students.   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities   Strong clinical knowledge of child and adolescent psychiatric and addiction medicine practices.   Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to patients, families, staff, and the public.   Proficiency   in reading and interpreting complex documents and using an electronic health record system.   Ability to   establish   effective relationships via telephone, telemedicine, or in-person contact, consistent with a hybrid practice model.   Capable of working in a   group   practice, following directions, and accepting supervision.   Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and their families.   Passion for helping others and commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.   Experience and Education Qualifications   Required   Medical degree from an accredited institution.   Completion of a residency program in psychiatry.   Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry or child and adolescent psychiatry.   Valid medical license to practice in the applicable state/province.   Why Join Us 🩺 Sign-On Bonus — $30,000 distributed on first payday   401(k) retirement plan with employer match   PTO:   160 hours   per year, front-loaded annual leave (up to   40 hours   may roll over from year to year)   Sick Leave:   40 hours   front-loaded sick leave (does not roll over from year to year)   Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage   CME: $3,500 CME expense reimbursement plus 5 paid CME days every two years (renews every two years; does not roll over)   100% of relevant professional license fees reimbursed by the company   100% of professional liability insurance covered by the company   Relocation reimbursement, if applicable   Student Loan Repayment Program   Employee Assistance Program (EAP)   Flexible schedule builds —   we'll   work with you to build a clinic schedule that meets your needs, with the main consideration being availability of supporting staff (e.g.,   nursing   and front desk) to align with your schedule   Opportunity to be part of an integrated, mission-driven healthcare team   Collaborative culture focused on improving access to high-quality behavioral health care   ​ Apply Today   Click apply or reach out to Kennedy Helenthal at [email protected] We have a dedicated CMG team who is looking forward to connecting with you!
