Overview
The Civil Engineering Technologist in the Site Development & Planning division will generate and manage comprehensive construction documents, plan sets, and design packages across various phases of land development. This is a full-time position paid bi-weekly on an hourly basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 15 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
Generate and manage comprehensive construction documents, plan sets, and design packages across various phases of land development
Use computerized design software and other relevant computerized tools to prepare design assignments
Interpret civil designs to create detailed dimensional drawings and layouts using CAD and GIS software
Review development applications, building permits, and zoning bylaws to ensure adherence to local ordinances and codes
Make arithmetic computations using standard civil engineering formulas
Assist with assembling and modifying standard site development detail sheets
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of Civil Engineering experience, with an emphasis on Texas land development and site design
Advanced proficiency in the latest versions of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Preferred experience with ArcGIS and Bluebeam Revu
Understanding of Texas municipal infrastructure design standards, drainage criteria, and site development feasibility
Possess the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of team members
