Saint Louis University School of Medicine   Departments with  Current Opportunities: Internal Medicine, Cancer Center,   or   Neurology     Join Our Clinical Research Team   Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Medicine is   seeking   experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to   contribute directly to SLU's research enterprise by supporting innovative clinical trials and research studies that advance knowledge, improve treatments, and   ultimately impact   patients.     As a   Clinical Research Nurse , you will  work  alongside physician s/principal investigators to  coordinate and conduct clinical research activities for studies involving investigational drugs, medical devices, procedures, and other research interventions. The Clinical Research Nurse serves as a key liaison between research participants, investigators, sponsors, institutional review boards, and clinical partners to ensure studies are conducted   in accordance with   Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, and institutional policies.   These positions combine clinical nursing   expertise , patient advocacy, research coordination, and regulatory compliance to support a broad portfolio of clinical trials.   Why Join Saint Louis University?   Monday-Friday schedule , (5 – 8 Hour Shifts/week)   Flexible work schedules   available based on department needs   15 vacation days ,   13 sick day s,   10+ paid holidays each year   Tuition remission for employees and eligible dependents   Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits   Collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth and development   Saint Louis University offers the opportunity to combine patient care with scientific advancement while enjoying a strong work-life balance and exceptional benefits.   Key Responsibilities   Screen, recruit, consent, enroll, and   retain   research participants according to study protocols.   Conduct nursing assessments and monitor participants throughout study participation.   Coordinate and manage study visits, procedures, testing, and follow-up activities.   Review medical records and collect relevant clinical data for research studies.   Administer and   monitor   investigational therapies and study-related interventions as   permitted   by protocol.   Document study activities, participant interactions, and protocol-related procedures in electronic systems and source documentation.   Ensure   accurate   and   timely   entry of study data into clinical trial management systems and sponsor databases.   Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, sponsors, and clinical partners to   maintain   protocol compliance.   Monitor,   identify , document, and report adverse events and protocol deviations.   Support regulatory submissions, study audits, monitoring visits, and compliance activities.   Maintain participant confidentiality and ensure the integrity and security of research data.   Apply institutional, federal, and regulatory requirements governing human   subjects   research.   Serve as a resource for research participants and interdisciplinary study teams.   Perform   additional   duties as assigned.   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities   Knowledge of clinical nursing practices and patient care standards.   Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.   Ability to manage multiple studies and competing priorities in a fast-paced research environment.   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance.   Proficiency   with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), Microsoft Office, and clinical research software systems.   Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.   Ability to travel to off-site clinical or research locations as needed.   Minimum Qualifications   Registered Nurse (RN) with current Missouri nursing license or eligibility for Missouri licensure.   Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.   Three (3) years of professional nursing experience.   Proficiency   with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.   Preferred Qualifications   Clinical   research   experience     Experience working within an academic medical center, hospital, or healthcare research setting.   Apply today to join a mission-driven team   to improve   lives through research.   Function Clinical Research Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Saint Louis University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
