SUMMARY
The ITO Clinical Services Liaison serves as the program mediator and evaluator for all clinical matters. They will communicate directly with the vendor/facility representatives and the Managed Service Organization (MSO) team regarding pre-screenings, interviews, placement status, and coaching/performance issues for travel nurses in the program. The ITO Clinical Services Liaison role primarily supports the MSO by interviewing all submitted candidates, assisting with any assessment remediation and/or performance coaching as a liaison to the vendor and facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Interviews all submitted candidates for open traveler positions. Provides feedback to vendors on status
Acts as a liaison between the client facility and the vendor to discuss performance and/or clinical concerns including pre-screenings, counseling, and terminations
Reviews competency testing and works with the vendors to remediate as needed
Works with the vendor and facility liaisons to ensure proper policy and procedures are followed by the traveler, as well as regulations set forth by state and federal agencies and departments
Reviews clinical documentation as needed to ensure standards of care are maintained
Screens candidate submittals for accuracy and experience when requested/required
Ensures contract compliance within the tool and during traveler assignments for the MSO
Evaluates current vendor base/traveler performance on an annual basis and relays appropriate information to the MSO Operating Managers and vendor representatives
Upholds and maintains standards of The Joint Commission, as well as participates in on-site surveys
Reviews and evaluates all traveler cancellation notices to collect documentation and/or remediate when needed
Works with the MSO Operating Manager to review performance improvement activities and help to develop new strategies to propel the business
Performs additional duties as requested by management
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute clinical setting required
Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license required
Prior work experience in a healthcare staffing environment preferred
Proficient in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred
Proficient in a Vendor Management System (VMS) environment preferred
Experience working remotely and within a team-based environment preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must have use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and face to face contact
Must have the capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment such as but not limited to the computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine
Must be able to sit for long periods of time with low periods of reaching and standing

Compensation Range
$68,300.00 - $85,400.00
Benefits include: health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, company-paid life insurance, 401K with discretionary match, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
