Job Details Comfort Care Associate Qualifications: HS diploma or equivalent required; completion of first or second year of nursing school preferred BLS (Basic Life Support Certification) Responsibilities: Provides continuous observation and vigilant monitoring of patients experiencing changes in physical, cognitive, behavioral, or emotional status under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Supports the delivery of safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care for individuals requiring enhanced observation and monitoring. Assists in implementing comfort measures and therapeutic interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, including support with sensory aids, environmental modifications, orientation, mobility, and toileting needs. Collaborates with the Registered Nurse to review and understand the patient's individualized plan of care and assigned responsibilities for each shift. Communicates patient-specific needs, observations, and relevant information to the Registered Nurse to support coordinated care planning and effective patient outcomes. Promptly reports changes in patient condition, safety concerns, unusual observations, patient complaints, or expressed needs to the Registered Nurse and/or leadership team. Assists with the safe transport and transfer of patients utilizing appropriate transfer techniques, assistive equipment, and proper body mechanics to promote patient and staff safety. Maintains a therapeutic, supportive, and safe environment that promotes patient dignity, comfort, and well-being. Posted Salary Range USD $25.73 - USD $25.73 /Hr.
