Your commitment to service and community engagement will not only enrich your professional journey but will also foster connections that lead to improved wellbeing for those you serve.   As a Community Support Specialist, you will provide essential mental health services tailored to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and adults. Collaborating with clients and various stakeholders,   you’ll   develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to help clients achieve their goals and flourish in their environments.   This position offers…   •   Employee Assistance Program  – 24/7 counseling services, legal assistance, & financial consultation for you and your household at no cost    •   Mileage Reimbursement   – Company paid for work functions requiring travel   •   Employee Discounts   – Hotels, Theme Parks & Attractions, College Tuition   •   Workplace Culture  - An environment cultivating employee wellbeing, valuing each individual's humanity, and actively promoting a healthy, joyful workforce   •   Additional Perks & Benefits  - Scroll down to bottom of this post to learn more   Key Responsibilities:   • Provide community-based mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.   • Collaborate closely with clients, families, and stakeholders to shape and execute individualized treatment plans.   • Employ a   strengths -based approach, transforming lives through empowerment and skill-building using evidence-based practices.   • Offer behavioral interventions through techniques such as motivational interviewing, operant conditioning, and group dynamics.   • Coordinate care with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations for holistic support.   •   Maintain   accurate   records of client interactions, treatments, and progress as per organizational policies.   •   Participate   in training and development activities to enhance your skills related to mental health services.   • Work in tandem with other team members to ensure effective care coordination for clients.   • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and counselors.   • Prepare and facilitate PSR group sessions as per treatment plan goals.   Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:   An individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other specialized human services field;   Or an individual with a Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and two years of related work experience;   Or any four-year combination of higher education and two years of related work experience;   Or an Associate’s of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support;   Or an individual with four years of qualifying experience in delivering services to individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.   Additional Qualifications:   • Must   possess   a current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.   • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to   operate   a company-owned vehicle.   • Must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age to   operate   a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van.   • Must have reliable means of transportation to transport clients in a personal vehicle.   Physical Requirements:   • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amounts of force   frequently   to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.   • Sedentary work often requires sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.
