“We’re not in the shipping business; we’re in the information business” -Peter Rose, Expeditors Founder Global supply chain management is what we do, but at the heart of Expeditors you will find professionalism, leadership, and a friendly environment, all of which foster an innovative, customer service-based approach to logistics. 15,000 trained professionals 250+ locations worldwide Fortune 500 Globally unified systems Our warehouse team is key to our success, having the best team is what we strive for and supporting growth is what we do!   Assist in the enforcement of Expeditors’ Operational Process Standards, policies and procedures Ensure compliance with CFRs relating to import and export shipments Ensure compliance with Denied Party Screening, sanctions and embargoes Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance policies and procedures Stay current with changes in trade regulations and assess their impact on operations Additional Duties include but not limited to: Internal Reviews and Daily Monitoring Maintaining up to date information with pertinent transportation publications Post Entry writing reviews, reports, activities and trends Prepare and hold training sessions for operational staff Compliance comprehension and high ethical standards 2 years or more of agent or operations experience within logistics or customs brokerage network.   Demonstrated understanding of applicable Customs Compliance laws and regulations Ability to relate to clients, government officials and employees at all levels Strong familiarity with, and continued pursuit of proficiency in Expeditors’ operating systems, including GCI, CFIT, EDMS, ETMS, and, where applicable, third-party systems used to conduct Expeditors’ transactions DG certification(s) Proven research, problem solving and follow-up skills Customs Broker license (U.S.) or similar non-U.S. country license, where available (Preferred) IATA/FIATA Cargo Certification (Preferred) Expeditors offers excellent benefits: Paid Vacation (first year prorated based off month of hire then eligible for 15 days annually)  Annual Paid Holidays (10) Flexible Days (2 offered each Jan 1st) Paid Sick Time (accrual rate of 1 hour of sick time per 30 hours paid, unused rolls over) 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with employer match Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) 2 types of Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental & Vision Coverage Optional Health Savings Account (HSA) Life and Disability Insurance Paid Parental Leave (additional eligibility criteria) Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DC FSA) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Position is full time (40 hours per week) Monday through Friday
