It is responsible for safeguarding and preserving lives and property through prevention, protection, and preparation as well as the care, custody, and supervision of all adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. This department includes state prisons with custody, healthcare, and facility operations staff as well as probation/parole officers who supervised sentenced people in the community. Description of Work This CES I will supervise offenders in the loading and unloading of products shipped and received out of Correction Enterprises Apex facility. This includes maintaining accurate inventory in reference to product receipt and storage. . This includes offender training and monitoring for storing materials properly in the warehouse or on a truck/trailer. Train offender staff on safety and the maintaining of a safe work environment. Also hold the offender staff accountable to safe working behaviours. Maintain all offender safety files and monthly safety inspection records Perform cycle counts to verify on hand inventory and to ensure that product inventories reconcile with system quantities. Also guard against materials being lost, misplaced, or inadequately accounted for. Various duties assigned by the Distribution Manager, Warehouse Manager, and/or Logistics Manager , including but not limited to, warehouse sanitation, general warehouse maintenance, and forklift/ equipment maintenance and repair. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $37,377 - $65,408 The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required.
