Description of Work This position is located at Granville Correctional Institution, Butner NC. The individual assigned to this role will report to the Senior Correctional Case Analyst. Key Duties Included: - Analyze and interpret legal commitments/documents, medical data, psychological data, criminal history, social history, statistical information gathered from interviews and written documentation - Develop effective treatment plans for offenders including recommendations for housing, custody, treatment and programming. -Comprehend and abide by policy, standard operating procedures, emergency plans, memorandum, legal documents and other directives, both written and verbal, governing daily activities.  - Perform routine supportive counseling and crisis intervention functions to include suicide prevention, recognizing abnormal behavior and taking appropriate action in accordance with established procedures.  -Perform rescue functions during emergencies, i.e., physically removing people from dangerous areas and securing people from confined areas.
