Crane Operator 1st Shift

Company Description The warehouse of the future is equipped with our autonomous robots instead of forklifts and our Atlas 2D pallet shuttles or tote shuttles that allow for high-density storage (no wasted space). Location:   Adairsville, GA United States Key Responsibilities / Tasks The employee receives production priorities and instructions from operators and supervisors (via verbal communication and SharePoint), as well as unloading instructions from the logistics office. Follow ERP instructions indicating which coil to place on which machine Position coils on machines Strap and remove coil remnants and record them in SAP Unload coil trucks Clear the slitting line output table Stack coils by type and supplier in designated locations Follow supervisor instructions to improve processes and prevent damage or complaints Adapt to changing work priorities Prepare, move, store, and unload materials within required timeframes Maintain cleanliness and organization Unpack coils and dispose of waste Comply with environmental standards Ensure quality and stability of coil stacking Follow and enforce safety rules Report all activities in end-of-shift documentation for performance tracking Support colleagues as needed Separate rejected/blocked coils from usable stock Participate in inventory and cycle counts Conduct 5S audits according to procedures Knowledge & Skills Requirements Knowledge of warehouse layout (coil locations) Product knowledge Warehouse operations knowledge Ability to use scanning systems Ability to operate a forklift (valid license required) Overhead crane certification SAP knowledge (transactions to track production by machine) What do we offer you?  PTO, days paid sick leave, 11 US paid holidays Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Company paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance Company Paid Life Insurance Company Paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment 401K with employer match, currently 4% Partial Tuition Reimbursement after 12 months Gross Salary Tobacco Free Campus Quality, Safety, Health, Environment, Compliance Every employee at stow contributes to a safe and compliant work environment.
