What You’ll Do : As Crib Attendant, you’ll be part of our Stanley Black & Decker team located in EAST LONGMEADOW, MA . You’ll get to: Manage internal and external processes to ensure there are adequate MRO supplies to minimize equipment downtime. Partner with internal resources and external suppliers to ensure the business maintains correct/effective MRO inventory levels. This includes participating in planning sessions and staying on top of the needs of all areas of the plant. Lead inventory optimization efforts including reviewing MIN/MAX with preferred suppliers and purchasing team. Be the voice of the plant to Global Supply Chain MRO and Sourcing teams to ensure the MRO program is efficient. Manages and monitors compliance with MRO policies and procedures Constantly seeking supply alternatives for materials already developed, seeking to reduce costs and/or performance improvements Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and reliability personnel to drive cost reductions. Monitor KPIs related to MRO and ensure service levels are met by preferred suppliers. You also have:  Detail oriented Hands-on Inventory control background a plus. Knowledge of parts and materials a plus. Understanding of inventory management processes. Working knowledge of SAP, Ariba, and CMMS systems preferred. Competent in MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Intermediate computing skills and willingness to learn new systems. Process oriented project management mindset. Accountability to individual and team goals and metrics. CribMaster knowledge a plus.
