Overview Employment Type: Full Time Shifts Available: Nights Hours: Weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Location: Southern Regional Medical Center – Riverdale, GA Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/ Responsibilities Prepare patients and ensure patients are properly positioned on the Computer Tomography (CT) table and explain the procedure to them with empathy, address any concerns or questions they may have Operate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting the CT scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all times Monitor our patients, as a CT Technologist ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure Assist other radiologists, as you will work closely with them, who interpret the images you produced by the CT exam you may also assist in administering contrast agents or perform certain procedures Accountable for the quality assurance of CT scanners / X-ray machines to ensure they function properly and produce accurate images Qualifications Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required ARRT Certification Current BCLS (AHA) Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations Proficient computer skills   #LI-DF2  Employment Status Full Time Shift Nights Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
