Overview Employment Type: Full Time Shifts Available: Days or Mid shifts  Hours: 8's, 10's or 12's  Location: Southern Regional Medical Center – Riverdale, GA Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/ Responsibilities Prepare patients and ensure patients are properly positioned on the Computer Tomography (CT) table and explain the procedure to them with empathy, address any concerns or questions they may have Operate CT scanners and/or X-ray machines to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting the CT scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all times Monitor our patients, as a CT Technologist ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure Assist other radiologists, as you will work closely with them, who interpret the images you produced by the CT exam you may also assist in administering contrast agents or perform certain procedures Accountable for the quality assurance of CT scanners / X-ray machines to ensure they function properly and produce accurate images Qualifications Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire   Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required Proficient computer skills  #LI-DF2 Employment Status Full Time Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
