Custodial Worker 1

An employee in this job performs a variety of standard or aseptic cleaning and sanitation tasks. Work involves cleaning buildings, gathering waste and recyclable materials, and using and maintaining custodial supplies and cleaning equipment. Employees in this job do not require close supervision of assigned day-to-day custodial duties. However, work is subject to inspection while in progress or upon completion for adherence to established standards of cleanliness. Detailed supervisory guidance and review is provided for new or unusual situations and changes in operating procedures. 90% of the workday is spent indoors while the remaining 10% is occasionally spent working outside in the snow and or rain. To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated, reliable, dependable, detail-oriented, and have time management skills.
