Job Title Custom Solutions Manager- Commercial Flooring Position Overview We are seeking a Custom Solutions Manager to lead the execution of complex, custom commercial flooring projects supporting our West Coast division. This role serves as the   central point   of coordination across sales, design, estimating, and manufacturing -   ensuring   projects   move efficiently from concept through production and delivery. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role responsible for managing a significant volume of custom work, partnering closely with Account Executives, regional leadership, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions for our customers.   This hybri d   rol e is based in Cartersville,   G A   and 3-5 days a week are   require d  in office.           Key Responsibilities :     Serve as the   primary point of contact   for all custom project activity within the West Coast division, supporting Account Executives and regional leadership   Lead the   intake, evaluation, and execution   of custom project requests   submitted   through Salesforce or direct communication   Act as a   gatekeeper for project feasibility , ensuring all specifications, design details, and requirements are complete and aligned before execution   Partner with   design and estimating leadership   to assign projects and align resources based on scope, complexity, and timelines   Drive   end-to-end project ownership —from   initial   concept through final production and delivery   Maintain frequent   client and stakeholder communication , including project kickoff discussions, status updates, and expectation management   Ensure alignment across   cross-functional teams   including CAD, sample manufacturing, specifications, rugs, customer service, and production   Support and guide Account Executives on   project submission quality and process adherence   Oversee project progression to ensure timelines are met, proactively   prioritizing,   expediting , and escalating   as needed   Review and   validate   quotes and purchase orders (POs)   to ensure alignment with approved project scope   Monitor project financials,   identifying   off-target budgets or selling expenses   and partnering with leadership on resolution   Help   maintain   and improve   project management processes and workflows   Team & Scope :     Lead and coordinate a team of   pro j ec t coordinators , designers, and estimators   Operate as a   player/coach , enabling the team while   maintaining   ownership of project flow and outcomes   Support a   high-volume, fast-paced environment   with complex, specification-driven work   Partner closely with   Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and Account Executives (AEs)   across the West Coast   Requirements:   3–5+ years of project management experience   in a   client-facing, cross-functional environment   Experience managing   custom, made-to-order, or specification-driven products   Industry experience in one of the following:   Commercial flooring, Commercial interiors / A&D (architecture & design), Textiles or related manufacturing   Proven ability to   own projects end-to-end Strong experience working across   multiple internal teams   (design, manufacturing, customer service, etc.)   Preferred skills and experiences :     Experience within the   hospitality segment   or specification-driven environments   Knowledge of   soft surface flooring   (carpet, rugs, Axminster, etc.)   Experience with   Salesforce or similar project intake systems   Familiarity with   design and estimating processes   within manufacturing   Ability to interpret   plans, specifications, or design intent   Required Competencies: Initiate Action Deliver Compelling Communication Demonstrate Customer Orientation Build Trusting Relationships Coach and Develop Others Shaw benefits include:   Medical, dental, and vision insurance  Life insurance and disability coverage  Tuition reimbursement  Employee assistance program  Health savings account  Paid Time Off  Parental Leave  401K and Retirement Plans  Product discounts for employees  Adoption assistance  Shaw Family Health Center (Dalton, GA, and Cartersville, GA, locations)  #LI-BT1  #ShawIND    Work Shift 8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM Shaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
