It is responsible for safeguarding and preserving lives and property through prevention, protection, and preparation as well as the care, custody, and supervision of all adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. Description of Work This position is located at Richmond Correctional Institute, Hoffman, NC. Richmond is a medium custody prison housing male offenders. The facility is designed to house 420 offenders. The position is responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to offenders. Duties include (but not limited to): examinations, treatment planning, and coordinating diagnostic studies. It oversees infection control, maintains accurate documentation, supervises dental staff, and ensures proper operation of the dental office. Additional duties include responding to grievances, maintaining equipment, evaluating program needs, and promoting professional communication with medical and custody staff. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Range: $111,858 - $223,714 Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.
