Project Role : Deployment Lead Project Role Description : Plan and lead the execution of a comprehensive deployment plan, including work planning, scheduling, budgeting, metrics, training, pilots, and resources. Collaborate with all project teams to manage interdependencies, ensure alignment between all deployment-related activities, and monitor & control progress through the deployment plan. Must have skills : Mainframe Application Performance Optimization Good to have skills : Database Management, Database Activity Monitoring Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Deployment Lead, a typical day involves orchestrating the detailed execution of deployment activities by carefully planning and managing schedules, budgets, and resources. This role requires close collaboration with various project teams to ensure all deployment efforts are synchronized and interdependencies are effectively managed. Monitoring progress against the deployment plan and making necessary adjustments to maintain alignment and achieve project goals are key aspects of the daily routine. Additionally, the Deployment Lead oversees training initiatives and pilot programs to support a smooth transition during deployment phases. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure seamless deployment activities. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance deployment processes and outcomes. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Application Performance Optimization. - Good To Have Skills: Database Management, Database Activity Monitoring. - Strong analytical skills to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system efficiency. - Experience in managing deployment schedules, resource allocation, and budget tracking. - Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment. - Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to track deployment progress and performance.
