We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure and CI/CD platforms across multi-cloud environments. This role will own the end-to-end CI/CD ecosystem (GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps) and lead cloud infrastructure engineering across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS. You will partner closely with development, SRE, data, and security teams to deliver reliable, repeatable deployments and high-performing infrastructure at scale.
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
Architect and manage multi-cloud infrastructure across:
Google Cloud Platform (primary)
AWS environments
Design and deploy highly available, scalable systems supporting production workloads
Implement and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Manage:
Multi-region and multi-environment deployments
Greenfield infrastructure and migration of infrastructure from AWS to GCP
Build and maintain foundational cloud components including:
Compute platforms (GKE, Cloud Run, EC2, Kubernetes)
Data platforms (BigQuery, RDS, S3, Cloud SQL)
Messaging and integration systems
Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability
CI/CD Engineering
Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using:
GitHub Actions (primary platform)
Azure DevOps (legacy support & migration)
Standardize and optimize workflows for:
Build, test, deployment, and release automation
Infrastructure provisioning (Terraform plan/apply pipelines)
Application deployments (Kubernetes, ArgoCD, serverless applications)
Implement secure pipeline practices including:
Secrets management
Role-based access controls
Establish reusable CI/CD templates, shared workflows, and best practices
Improve pipeline reliability, speed, and developer experience
Platform Engineering & Automation
Promote an infrastructure-as-code-first mindset across all environments
Develop automation for provisioning, scaling, and configuration management
Build self-service platform capabilities for engineering teams
Drive adoption of modern DevOps tools and practices
Operations & Reliability
Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive solutions
Ensure 24/7 availability and operational excellence for critical systems
Support incident response, root cause analysis, and system improvements
Maintain high availability through:
Load balancing
Auto-scaling
Disaster recovery strategies
Collaboration
Partner with developers to understand application architecture and dependencies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data, security, infrastructure)
Provide technical insight in:
Cloud architecture decisions
CI/CD strategy
DevOps best practices
Qualifications
Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering
Expertise in Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS
Experience with containerization and orchestration:
Docker, Kubernetes
Understanding of:
CI/CD design patterns
Cloud security and IAM
Proficiency with Git-based workflows and version control
Extra Credit
Experience with multi-cloud architectures (GCP + AWS)
Hands-on experience with:
CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, others)
Familiarity with:
Terraform
Helm, ArgoCD, or GitOps practices
AWS or GCP certifications
Eligibility:
