Essential Functions Maintain fleet of trucks Diagnosing and repairing heavy duty trucks and equipment Ability to communicate effectively to ensure efficient repairs are made Evaluate truck performance Inspect equipment Report mechanical issues and problems to shop manager Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills. Education Qualifications High School or Equivalent required Experience Qualifications 1+ years of diesel mechanic experience Diagnostic experience helpful Skills and Abilities Communication Proficiency Results Driven Stress Management/Composure Teamwork Orientation Detail Orientation Licenses and Certifications Valid drivers license or CDL required ASE certifications preferred Working Conditions/Physical Demands Works in a shop Works under, on or various positions on a truck May lift or move 50 lbs+ May occasionally perform service calls About Milestone Contractors Milestone Contractors is a privately held, family-owned business headquartered in Indianapolis.
