Company Perks/Benefits:  Wage: $19.85 Full Range Scale $19.85 - $22.15 per hour  (the rate of pay and pay scale provided for this position are based on title and geographical location) Schedule: Saturday 8am-10pm, Sunday 8am-10pm, Monday 2pm-10pm Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance for eligible employees  Supplemental Insurance  Flex Spending and HSA Accounts for eligible employees  Pet Insurance  Life Insurance for eligible employees  401 K plan with up to  3% employer match for eligible employees  PAID TIME OFF (PTO) for eligible employees  Growth and Development Opportunities  Employee Referral Program  Employee Assistance Program  National Brand Discounts  Tapcheck- early pay access  PAID training and orientation What You Get to Do:  The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for providing direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to youth ages 12-21 with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a manner that ensures their health, safety, successful achievement of service objectives, and personal goals.     Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment   Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.  Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.   Prepare meals and snacks. Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.   Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices. Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed.  Other duties as assigned   Why This Role:  Personal fulfillment, a meaningful career, and the chance to make a difference.  Positively impact someone’s life.   Gain health care experience to further your career.  6 months  of professional work experience supporting vulnerable populations  required  (ex. caregiver, nanny, paraeducator, direct support professional, etc.)  6 months of volunteer experience may be used in lieu of professional work experience.  Must be 21 years of age or older  per Washington state licensing requirements High School Diploma or GED  Good communication is key in this role.
