This role will be responsible for building and leading a scalable, high-performing, data-driven procurement and logistics function that delivers cost optimization, supply assurance, timely movement of critical materials, supplier and courier performance, compliance, talent development, and operational alignment across global sites, laboratories, manufacturing operations, and business stakeholders. How You’ll Add Value The Director, Integrated Supply Chain: Will serve as a senior people leader responsible for aligning procurement, logistics and planning.  Will be accountable for courier services, and supplier strategy with business growth. This position will lead, coach, and develop global procurement and logistics teams while partnering closely with Finance, Operations, Quality, Facilities, R&D, Commercial, and site leadership to ensure the timely, compliant, and cost-effective availability and movement of goods, services, specimens, materials, equipment, and supplies needed to support laboratory, manufacturing, customer, and site operations. What You’ll Do Develop and execute an integrated procurement strategy that supports global Multiomics business objectives, including cost savings, supply continuity, quality, compliance, and operational scalability. Lead strategic sourcing, category management, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and supplier consolidation across direct and indirect spend categories. Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global procurement and logistics organization, including buyers, sourcing professionals, procurement operations support, and related supply chain team members across multiple locations. Establish supplier governance processes, including supplier scorecards, Quarterly Business Reviews, service level agreements, corrective action plans, and continuous improvement expectations. Partner with Finance and business leaders to develop procurement budgets, savings targets, productivity initiatives, and spend analytics that improve margin and working capital performance. Oversee procurement support for New Product Introduction, existing product development, laboratory operations, manufacturing needs, and site-level operational requirements. Drive end-to-end materials availability through inventory management and supporting implementation of SIOP processes, , Provide strategic oversight of inbound and outbound logistics processes, including courier services, freight coordination, shipment visibility, delivery performance, cold chain or temperature-sensitive shipments where applicable, and escalation of service disruptions impacting customers or operations. Evaluate, select, and manage courier, freight, transportation, and logistics partners to ensure service reliability, cost effectiveness, compliance, chain-of-custody expectations, and alignment with laboratory and customer turnaround-time requirements. Develop procurement and logistics operating standards and workflows, including purchase order management, vendor onboarding, shipment coordination, courier escalation protocols, service level expectations, and reporting routines that support consistent execution across sites. Identify and mitigate supplier, material, logistics, facilities, and operational risks through proactive planning, dual sourcing, business continuity planning, and escalation management. Partner with Facilities and Operations stakeholders to ensure vendor support for maintenance, site services, safety, equipment lifecycle management, warehouse organization, and operational services is effectively sourced and managed. Ensure procurement processes comply with applicable policies, quality requirements, regulatory expectations, internal controls, and local, state, and federal standards where relevant. Leverage ERP, planning, sourcing, and analytics tools to improve visibility, automate procurement workflows, strengthen reporting, and support data-driven decision-making. Use procurement, logistics, and courier performance data to identify service gaps, reduce shipment delays, improve vendor accountability, and strengthen end-to-end supply chain visibility.
