As the Director of Implementation, Design, and Coaching - Math, you'll be the driving force behind systemic instructional improvement across multiple schools in South San Francisco Unified School District. You'll own the full lifecycle of implementation—from strategic launch through measurable impact—while serving as both a strategic partner to district leaders and a hands-on instructional coach who designs and facilitates professional learning that sticks. This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You'll be in schools weekly, working shoulder-to-shoulder with teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators to strengthen K-8 math instruction through collaborative learning cycles, student work analysis, and curriculum implementation aligned to Illustrative Mathematics. You'll translate complex district priorities into actionable project plans, monitor progress with precision, and adjust strategies in real-time based on qualitative and quantitative data. Your work will directly influence how teachers plan lessons, deliver instruction, and help students apply mathematical thinking to the real world.
