Job Description: Editor will work in the Client office under the direction of senior staff to assign, edit and oversee publication of a large number of articles about medical conditions. Must be able to quickly research complex medical topics. Must be able to work closely with medical reviewers. Ability to edit in a warm, supportive tone with friendly language is critical. Must understand and be able to implement SEO best practices. This is a long-term project with strict deadlines. Required Skills: Strong word editing Understanding of friendly language Understanding of SEO Experience in assigning, working with freelance writers Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask Ability to meet deadline without fail. Desired (not required) Skills: Consumer magazine editing Health/medical/condition writing/editing experience Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years' experience in content assigning, editing and production.
