Job Description: Perform Electrical design, technical analysis and/or resolution of engineering problems with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation Essential Functions: Design/alteration of complex electrical equipment Test and debug complex equipment to isolate defects Prepare layouts using CAD tools Evaluation of complex designs; make engineering changes Evaluate new parts Prepares schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings and bills of material (BOM) for complex equipment Support manufacturing/assembly teams Manage and maintain project file May travel to customer site and support field teams with technical assistance as required May assist with leading, mentoring or coaching less experienced team members Other duties as assigned Job Specifications: Must be able to perform all level 2 duties competently Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts Comprehensive knowledge of CAD and engineering systems Strong logical and reasoning abilities Problem-solving ability Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods; electrical design and project management Verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in customer’s facility and manage that relationship Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Typically has 4 plus years of experience in electrical engineering Compensation range: The approximate pay range for this position is $88,000–$110,000 annually.
