This role is responsible for supervising daily field activities, coordinating crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.   The Electrical Foreman works closely with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel to coordinate manpower, manage material needs, and resolve field challenges while maintaining productivity and quality. This position is responsible for directing electricians and apprentices, assisting with construction scheduling, coordinating material orders, documenting testing and troubleshooting results, and ensuring electrical installations are completed according to project specifications and industry standards.   Essential Job Responsibilities    Test electrical systems using tools to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system and to ensure compatibility   Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation   Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation and troubleshoot using testing devices, blueprints and maps   Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to supervisor   Required:    High school diploma or GED required.    Current Texas State electrical journeyman license   Minimum 4 years documented field work or completion of 4-year electrical apprentice program   Excellent understanding of the electrical industry   Previous foreman, leadman, or supervisory experience preferred.    Physical Demands and Work Environment   The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   Work Environment:   Outdoor construction setting with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, and other environmental factors.   Frequent visits to outdoor construction sites with exposure to weather extremes.   If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required.
