Be a part of our team of healthcare heroes and discover why Catholic Health was named Long Island’s Top Workplace Job Details Job Duties: Maintain various logs in an accurate and legible manner Speak and understand the English language Properly operate a mobile phone and/or radio and communicate regularly with a dispatcher Observe and obey all NYS Vehicle and Traffic Laws Operate and maintain company vehicles according to current policies and procedures Maintain the highest levels of customer service Patient identity must be confirmed prior to transport via a patient ID bracelet Ensure all clients are picked up and dropped off door-to-door and in a safe and appropriate manner Secure clients within the vehicle at all times as per current procedure Complete and submit all required paperwork Requirements: Possession of a valid NYS Driver License This license is to be on their person while on duty Be properly uniformed while on duty Possess and be able to read and understand a map and/or operate a global positioning system (GPS) device Must be able to safely lift, carry, and balance up to 150 pounds without assistance and up to 300 pounds with assistance.  Posted Salary Range USD $19.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
