Candidate Responsibilities:  Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes. Typical Day: Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects. • “Telematics Information Flow” – validating software to make sure that it is functioning properly and execute tests • Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software.  • No VISA candidates accepted • Opportunity for extension or possible permanent position if candidate performs well  • Top 4 Skill sets: o Software Development experience o Electronic Troubleshooting experience o Excellent Communication Skills o Hands-on Mechanical Background  Working hours: flexible, core hours 9 AM – 3 PM Technical Skills: BACKGROUND IN FARMING IS A MAJOR PLUS  Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. • 5 to 7 engineering experience required.  • CadetWin & Cadet CANape MS Office (Word and Excel) Heavy Equipment Operation  • Ideal candidate will have a background with farming experience  • Experience with Basic electronic testing using Digital Volt/Ohm Meters, Digital Oscilloscopes, Function Generators  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.  • Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field. Hands on mechanical work and control development background Soft Skills: Ability to work independently is key  • Creativity, Verbal and written communication skills, Analytical and problem solving ability.  • Team player and detail oriented.
