As an Executive Client Service Associate, you will be part of the Client Services Team and provide full support to an Executive Director Planner within the firm, ensuring and enhancing client satisfaction thru direct contact with clients, custodians, and other operational employees. We are looking for service professional with strong financial services industry experience to help us deliver superior service by building and nurturing the client relationship, as well as performing all related administrative functions. If you have exceptional client service, ability to adapt to various planner needs, strong multitasking abilities, communication skills, with a good understanding of finance, this may be the opportunity for you! Responsibilities: Advanced ability to work with an Executive Director – specifically with a large practice, handling multiple priorities and a high level of expertise in service transactions. Experience in interacting with affluent clients and working through complex financial transactions including; including estate transfers, cost basis calculations, etc. Understanding of RMD / Tax implications and impact to client relationships. Ability to evaluate a client’s financial situation – review statements, research documents and identify potential gaps in a portfolio for an Executive Director. Work independently with other service providers (CPAs, Estate Attorneys, etc.) to resolve complex client issues. Responsible for cultivating deeper relationships with clients and engaging with them on both a reactive and proactive basis Assist prospects and clients to handle all necessary onboarding paperwork and/or ancillary forms. Monitor client account activity, researching and resolving issues Verify accounts are traded into the correct model and aid operation teams as needed; track incoming rollovers, other investment funding, and transfers to ensure that all applicable accounts moved as expected Maintain risk awareness and compliance; identify problems in a timely manner while complying with standard resolution policy, the established corporate process, and regulatory procedures Participation in projects, task forces, councils, and product rollouts to ensure CSA voice is represented, as needed Ability to provide mentorship and training to other CSAs Participation in projects, task forces, councils, and product rollouts to ensure CSA voice is represented, as needed Ability to provide mentorship and training to other CSAs Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years of related industry experience (Registered Investment Advisor or Broker/Dealer) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred Works autonomously within established procedures and practices                   Good understanding of finance and investment markets/securities Exceptional client service skills, phone/video meeting etiquette and ability to communicate effectively Critical thinking, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills required Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and work with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Position requires a high level of confidentiality CRPC and/or Series 65 strongly recommended Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $73,000 - $102,000.  However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.  In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an annual target cash bonus. This role also offers the ability to earn additional cash bonuses for your contributions throughout the year. These bonuses reward you for helping introduce new clients to the firm, supporting strong client relationships, and contributing to your team’s growth and performance.  Collectively, all of the bonuses are a meaningful portion of the total cash opportunity for this role. Bonus amounts are determined by your individual contributions, your team’s results, and, in some cases, the revenue your team generates. Details about how these additional bonus opportunities work will be shared during the interview process and after hire.
