WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role reports to the Director, Kids Graphic Design and serves as the graphic design thought leader for Kids Tees. The role partners closely with Product Management, Merchandising, and Development to deliver compelling, high-volume graphic product.
This role also collaborates with Sportswear and other Kids categories to ensure alignment and consistency across the broader Kids graphic landscape.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is looking for an Expert Designer who brings exceptional graphic design craft and creative leadership—someone who can elevate Kids Tees through strong illustration, typography, and concept-driven storytelling while operating at speed and scale.
This role calls for a highly skilled creative who can define category vision, identify emerging opportunities, and translate cultural insights into compelling graphic narratives that resonate with kids and drive marketplace distinction.

Bachelor’s degree in Design, art or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
8+ years of apparel graphic design experience, including demonstrated leadership experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in illustration, typography, and concept-driven design
Experience working in high-volume graphic categories (tees or similar)
Strong understanding of product creation and graphic application
Exceptional expertise in illustration, typography, graphic composition, and visual storytelling
Demonstrates advanced concept development and conceptual thinking, transforming insights into compelling graphic narratives
Proven ability to create distinctive and scalable graphic systems that define category expression
Brings a clear point of view on youth culture, sport, entertainment, art, and emerging visual trends
Sets the standard for graphic craft, inspiring and elevating surrounding teams through creative leadership
Influences partners across design, product, and business functions through storytelling and vision
Operates with a future-focused mindset, identifying opportunities that shape the evolution of the category
Effectively balances creative innovation with consumer relevance and business impact
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will drive the creation and execution of graphic direction for Kids Tees, delivering a consistent pipeline of compelling, consumer-right product across seasons.
A typical day includes driving concept development, reviewing illustration and typography systems, aligning with partners on product strategy, and optimizing team workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
Define and champion the creative vision for Kids Tees graphic design
Drive excellence in illustration, typography, graphic composition, and conceptual storytelling
Create graphics that connect with kids through culture, sport, and imagination
Develop scalable graphic systems that balance innovation, consistency, and marketplace relevance
Identify emerging trends and translate them into future-forward design opportunities
Establish design principles and creative frameworks that guide seasonal product creation
Partner with cross-functional leaders to align creative strategy and product vision
Provide creative direction and mentorship to designers, elevating overall team capability and craft
Lead presentations and storytelling for leadership reviews and key milestones
Elevate the standard of graphic design excellence across the Kids organization
