Facilities Maintenance Technician

Overview The Facilities Maintenance Technician will serve as a key team member who will report to the Facilities Manager and will be responsible for wide variety of general repairs and services.  Responsibilities Electrical (Ballasts, bulbs, parking lot lights, troubleshooting outlets, and identifying and resetting tripped breaker.)  Plumbing (General plumbing including repairing leaking faucets, replacing washer’s faucets and seals on malfunctioning pluming equipment snaking /cleaning clogged drains)  Painting (Brush and roller applications, plaster, drywall repair, Interior and exterior jobs)  Doors (Metal/wood, closers, hinges, sweeps ext.)  Furniture (Repair, drawers, adjustment, assembly)  Additional duties include:  Moving items as needed (i.e., furniture, file cabinets, boxes, etc.,)  Delivery of office and building supplies to the correct departments and locations  Small appliance and equipment installation  Assist Facilities Manager and others on special projects as directed by Manager.  Responsible for the timely completion of all assigned facility work order requests.  Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.  All other duties as assigned.  Qualifications High school diploma.  Some technical / college education or minimum 5 years of work experience in facility maintenance field Computer skills including Microsoft Suites and facility management software.  Effective communication skills.  Ability to read, write and speak English.  Teamwork mindset  Ability to multi-task  Pay Range USD $24.00 - USD $29.00 /Yr.
