The Sr Principal, Family Office Practice Leader, PRM is the organization's most senior individual contributor and enterprise authority for Family Office risk management solutions within the Private Risk Management (PRM) practice. This role is responsible for shaping the strategic direction, market positioning, industry influence, and long-term growth of the Family Office practice while serving as the firm's foremost expert in advising family offices, ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families, family enterprises, private investment structures, trusts, foundations, and multigenerational wealth clients. Operating at the highest level of professional influence, this role serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and strategic clients, providing thought leadership and consultation on the most complex risk management, wealth preservation, and insurance challenges facing family office organizations. The Sr Principal partners with business leaders, producers, carrier executives, wealth advisors, legal professionals, and other centers of influence to drive innovation, establish market-leading capabilities, and influence enterprise priorities. As an pre-eminent professional, this role has broad organizational impact, influences business strategy across multiple practices, and is recognized both internally and externally as an industry authority. Primary Responsibilities Enterprise Family Office Strategy & Practice Leadership
Establish and influence the long-term strategic vision, market direction, and growth strategy for the Family Office practice within the PRM organization.
Serve as the organization's senior authority on family office risk management, advising executive leadership on emerging trends, market opportunities, business strategy, and competitive positioning.
Drive the development of innovative service models, advisory capabilities, and risk management solutions designed specifically for family offices, UHNW families, and complex wealth structures.
Identify emerging business opportunities and market trends that impact family offices, wealth preservation strategies, and affluent client segments.
Influence enterprise-level strategic initiatives and business planning activities impacting the Family Office and Private Risk Management practices.
Complex Client Advisory & Thought Leadership
Serve as the lead advisor and escalation resource for the firm's most sophisticated family office relationships and highest-profile private client engagements.
Consult on highly complex personal and commercial risk structures involving family offices, trusts, private aviation, marine portfolios, luxury real estate, investment partnerships, family foundations, cybersecurity, executive protection, and global exposures.
Develop innovative approaches to risk management, insurance program design, and wealth preservation that support complex family enterprise objectives.
Act as a thought leader and recognized authority within the private risk management and family office community through speaking engagements, authorship, industry participation, and strategic advisory activities.
Support strategic client retention, growth, and acquisition efforts involving key family office, UHNW, and influential client relationships.
Business Development & Industry Influence
Develop executive-level relationships with family office executives, private bankers, wealth management firms, multifamily offices, trustees, estate attorneys, accountants, investment advisors, and other influential market participants.
Generate and influence high-value business opportunities through strategic networking, market engagement, and development of trusted advisor relationships.
Partner with producers and business leaders to pursue complex opportunities involving significant revenue potential and strategic importance.
Influence industry conversations, market innovation, and best practices that strengthen the firm's reputation and competitive position.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, advisory boards, professional associations, and executive-level market forums.
Carrier & Market Leadership
Maintain strategic relationships with carrier executives, specialty markets, underwriting leadership, and industry innovators.
