Overview DEPARTMENT :   Camp SWONEKY  - Oregonia, OH         REPORTS TO:  Camp Facilities Manager           SUPERVISES:  N/A                                                                 STATUS:  Non Exempt Part Time Temporary                                                 FUNCTION: To feed and care for animals on weekends, holidays and staff vacations as requested.     Responsibilities DUTIES Feed and care animals on weekends and holidays as well as staff vacation days as requested. Communicate with Facilities Manager of any issues or emergencies as it relates to animals. Performs work in accordance with sound safety practices Perform routine safety inspections. Represent The Salvation Army in a manner that brings glory to God. Assist in every way requested to carry out the spiritual and total mission of The Southwest Ohio & Northeast All other duties assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 18 years of age or older Desire to work a hands-on job with a variety of animals Ability to do physical labor, lifting occasionally up to 50 pounds All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
