Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) Semiconductor Metrology

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) located in the Dresden area to join our team. Responsibilities Perform site surveys, pre-installation, installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools (e.g. X-ray, automated AFM, Photomask Repair tools) Perform corrective and preventive maintenance Provide technical support, basic application support, and customer training Build strong relationship with key accounts Serve as a supportive and effective communication link between the customer and Bruker to ensure customer service satisfaction Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the semiconductor business Travel regularly to customer sites across Germany and internationally (approximately 30–40% travel) Timely complete and submit all required paperwork Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines Become a trusted advisor and support service contract and new tool sales Other duties as assigned Qualifications Engineering degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline Hands-on experience with standard diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters), strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to understand and resolve issues in complex electro-mechanical systems Able to work in manufacturing, cleanroom, and laboratory environments Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware, industry-standard operating systems, and technical documentation Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Business-fluent English and German A current EU driving license
