Responsible for the design, development and deployment of technical training that supports the overall mission, values, and needs of the organization. Major Responsibilities Design, develop and implement a variety of engaging classroom, e-learning, and blended programs utilizing a variety of tools and resources that enhance the retention and transfer of information back on the job in support of our technical training needs, including but not limited to DriverHub, FOCUS, and Samsara. Provide both in person and remote delivery of learning content and/or provides subject matter expertise to assist others with web-based eLearning content delivery as assigned. Collaborate with leadership and Subject Matter Experts on the design and development of training materials and content. Provides customer service to internal and external sources, at all levels of the organization. Assists in the ongoing development and communication of the vision and mission First Student. Leads driver training sessions and supports drivers in the yard and as part of selected ride-alongs. (while onsite) Train location staff and drivers remotely, via Teams, on new technology. Communicates, schedules and organizes all logistics of training sessions. Effectively manages time, resources, and processes, assisting other team members as necessary Supports change in people, structure, and processes that move the organization from where we are now to where we want to be. Takes full accountability to deliver on commitments. Establishes partnerships at all levels and within the team or department to achieve optimum results. Supports vision and mission, achieves aggressive performance targets, continuously improves performance, assists others, and recognizes others for their contribution. Minimum Education or Certifications Required Undergraduate degree preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience or Skills Preferred   Required Logistics and operations background (2+ years) Excellent analytic and computer skills, including Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Excel & PowerPoint Displays leadership and ability to work in a team environment Ability to adapt to changing technologies and environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. The ability to work well under pressure. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. Incumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone. Total travel is expected to be 25% to US and Canada based locations If travel is necessary, while at a location for training and support, working hours could include an occasional 10-12-hour day required for 3-4 concurrent days. Compensation ranges from $50,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
