Description Devereux-Arizona’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program (TFC) serves children and adults with significant behavioral and emotional needs. Individuals are referred to Devereux via Arizona behavioral health networks and several tribal entities. Therapeutic foster parents are extensively trained to address each individual's intense needs and work with them toward their treatment goals. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Foster Care Coordinato r maintains and delivers high quality therapeutic services to TFC Individuals who have a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral complications. This position provides supervision and clinical oversight to the Therapeutic Home Specialists and foster families and individuals through effective communication skills, training, evaluation, and participating in CFT/ART meetings and home visits as needed. The Foster Care Coordinator serves as a backup to supervisees, carries a reduced caseload as needed, and participates in a weekly rotation of after-hours on-call support. Foster Care Coordinators also assist with program development through facilitation of placement referrals and engagement in recruitment and retention activities.
