We power the world’s leading brands   ―   and our   employees’   careers   ―   by   unlocking potential   everywhere   we see it.   If   you love to lead, are open to   new   ideas   and   inspire   the best in others, we should talk.   We’re   passionate about our   work,   we believe there is always a better way, and   we’re   looking for   professionals like   you.   Want to be part of something powerful ?   It’s   time to look at Taylor.   Your Opportunity:  Taylor Corporation  is seeking a 1st Shift  Fulfillment Center Supervisor  to manage the overall day to day operation within our   Jeffersonville, IN,   facility.  The position is responsible for talent acquisition and management, training, scheduling and ensuring a safe work environment.  Work Authorization:   To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must   be authorized to   work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.   Your Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday (additional hours may be required) Your Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of a customer's distribution center Ensure a safe work environment Oversee hiring, training and maintaining employee relations Responsible for controlling expenses, inventory control and loss prevention Ensures timely distribution of merchandise Adhere to established warehouse policies and practices Track Key Performance Indices Develop departmental budgets and control costs Manage relationships with onsite customers You Must Have: Strong customer-focused mindset Quality and process driven Project management skills/experience College degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience Documented work history of increasing responsibility Strong working knowledge of UPS, FedEx, and other manifesting systems. Knowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit-down lift trucks, reach trucks and order pickers Experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and utilizing bar code scanners We Would Also Prefer: LEAN Manufacturing knowledge Leadership experience Taylor is proud to now offer "DailyPay".
