Gift Shop Associate

Overview Department: Gift Shop Employment Type: Per Diem (PD/PRN)  Shift’s Available:  Variable  Hours: Variable  Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS We are seeking a Gift Shop Associate, also referred to as a Gift Shop Clerk or Gift Shop Sales Associate.  The Gift Shop Associate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Gift Shop, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, pricing merchandise, restocking displays, and handling sales reporting and vendor invoicing. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed.  Responsibilities Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff by providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service  Sell gifts, flowers, snacks, and other items, handling cash and electronic payments accurately  Restock merchandise, arranges displays, and ensures the shop is clean, organized, and welcoming  Assist with inventory management, including receiving and pricing new stock  Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the hospital environment and patient needs  Qualifications Prefer one year of retail sales experience Prefer cash register knowledge and experience Prefer computer skills and customer service experience Must be available for evenings and weekends Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/ #LI-CB1 Employment Status Per Diem Shift Variable Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
