We are looking for a reliable and experienced  CDL  Driver to transport heavy equipment to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hauling heavy equipment , strong driving skills,   and   attention to safety regulations .   Key Responsibilities:   Safely   operate   and drive commercial vehicle s.   Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment in compliance with safety regulations.   Ensure that   all cargo is properly secured and transported   in accordance with   DOT regulations.   Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.   Maintain   accurate   logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status.   Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.   Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.   Handle and transport hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.   Operate tanker trucks when   required .   Qualifications:   Valid   Commercial Driver's License (CDL)   Class A preferred. Will also accept Class B.     Minimum of   3   years of experience in hauling heavy equipment.   Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are   preferred .   Clean driving record with no major violations.   Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.   Ability to   operate   and maintain heavy equipment.   Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.   Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   Good communication   and interpersonal skills.   ​ Working Conditions:     Work is primarily performed on active  construction  job sites, including highways, roadways, and heavy civil infrastructure projects.   Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust.   Position requires walking, standing, climbing, bending, and lifting in a construction environment.   May require extended work hours, early mornings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays to meet project schedules.   Frequent interaction with heavy equipment, moving machinery, traffic, and construction hazards; strict adherence to safety protocols is  required .   Travel between job sites may be required depending on project location.   Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all job sites.   This job description is not designed to cover or  contain  a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are  required of  the employee for this job.
