Feel free to check us out at http://www.mindlance.com Job: Supervisor Histotechnologist Location: Annapolis, MD Duration: 6 months (Temp to Hire) Schedule: Monday-Friday (9:00am-5:30pm) In addition to performing the functions of Histotechnologist, this level is responsible for assigning work when scheduled employees are absent, reviewing work, administering the quality control & safety programs, advising management of problems areas, assisting in employee actions, acting as liaison with other departments and customers on technical inquiries and test results. Trains new and existing staff on both technical & non-technical procedures. Checks and revises gross as needed. Performs PeopleSoft supply ordering and monthly inventory counting. Prepares laboratory and attends regulatory inspections, CLIA/CAP.
